EXA Innovation Studio (“EIS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website https://www.eisnetwork.co/ (the “Site”) and hosts webinars, seminars, and related events (collectively, “Events”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you visit or interact with the Site or register for, attend, or otherwise engage with our Events.
By using the Site or registering for an Event, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

a) Information You Provide Directly
When you use our Contact form, register for or attend an Event, or email us, we collect the information you submit, which may include:
Name
Email address
Phone number
Company / organization name and job title
Social media profile / account information (e.g., LinkedIn URL)
Your responses to Event registration questions (e.g., areas of interest, involvement with new ventures)
Message content and any other information you choose to share
We collect this information through our Contact form, our Event registration forms, business-card exchanges, and direct correspondence.
b) Information Collected Automatically
When you browse the Site, we automatically collect certain information through Squarespace Analytics, our website hosting provider's built-in analytics tool. This may include:
IP address
Browser type and device information
Pages visited and time spent on the Site
Referring website
General location (derived from IP address)
We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or other third-party tracking tools beyond what is built into our Squarespace platform.
c) Cookies
The Site uses cookies placed by Squarespace to operate the Site and collect analytics data described above. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings, though some Site features may not function properly as a result.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
Respond to inquiries submitted through the Contact form or by email
Process your Event registration and communicate with you about the Event you signed up for
Contact you — including by email and telephone — about future seminars, webinars, and events that may interest you
Follow up with past attendees and contacts to understand their interest in EIS’s products and services
Gather feedback in order to improve the content and quality of our Events and services
Inform you about EIS’s products and services
Understand how visitors use the Site, in order to improve it
Maintain the security and proper functioning of the Site

We do not sell your personal information. We may use your contact details to send you information about our Events, products, and services. You can opt out of these communications at any time (see Section 7).
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share information with:
Squarespace, Inc., our website hosting and analytics provider, which processes data on our behalf in order to operate the Site (see Squarespace’s Privacy Policy)
Event registration and email/communication service providers that process data on our behalf to operate our Events and send communications
Legal or regulatory authorities, where required by law
The service providers listed above process personal information only on our instructions in order to provide services to us. Under Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information, this constitutes entrustment of the handling of personal data (委託) and is not a provision of personal data to a third party. We exercise necessary and appropriate supervision over these providers. We do not provide your personal information to any third party without your consent, except where permitted or required by law.
5. International Data Transfers
Because EIS operates across the United States, France, Kenya, and Japan, information you provide may be accessed or processed by team members in these locations. Where required, we take appropriate steps to ensure such transfers comply with applicable data protection laws, including the GDPR.
If you are located in Japan: your personal information may be transferred to and processed in the United States, France, and Kenya, where our offices are located, and in countries where our service providers operate. Information on the personal information protection systems of these countries, and on the measures we take to protect your information, is available on request at contact@eisnetwork.co. Where required by law, we will obtain your prior consent to such transfers.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal information submitted through the Contact form or an Event registration form only as long as necessary to respond to your inquiry, to communicate with you about our Events, products, and services, and for legitimate business or legal purposes, after which it is deleted or anonymized. You may request deletion of your information, or opt out of further communications, at any time (see Section 7).
7. Your Rights
Marketing Communications (All Users)
Where we contact you about future Events, products, or services, you can opt out at any time by using the unsubscribe link in our emails, telling us during a phone call, or emailing us at contact@eisnetwork.co. We will honor your request promptly.

You have the right to:
Access the personal data we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your data
Restrict or object to our processing of your data
Request a copy of your data in a portable format

The legal basis for processing your data is your consent (when you submit the Contact form or register for an Event and agree to this policy) and our legitimate interest in operating and improving the Site and in contacting past attendees and contacts about related Events, products, and services.
